2011.12.18 South Pacific – Don’t Pee Down My Back And Tell Me It’s Raining

A great finale show.  In the final Redemption Island duel between Brandon and Ozzy the challenge is to stay on a pole, hanging on with 1/4″ footholds – they both are tough but in the end Ozzy wins.  Brandon is sent to the jury but he is okay with it all.

2011.12.14 South Pacific – Honor, Loyalty and Integrity OR Excuses, Lame Justifications and Blame

Honor, Loyalty and Integrity – the TeTuna motto is put to the test this week.  It is day 33 and the scheming, shuffling, and justifications begin.

Redemption Island – Duel – Ozzy vs. Edna – The challenge is to complete a slide puzzle to get a hatchet out, then cut a rope which will release bags holding blocks.  Use the blocks to solve a cube puzzle lining up the cubes with no matching colors on each side.  Reverse Rubics stick is our impression.  Ozzy is in the lead getting to the cube puzzle.  Edna is getting direction and help from her whole team and thinks she has it – Jeff comes over but “No” it wasn’t right, Ozzy calls for a check and “Yes”.  Ozzy wins.

2011.09.12 South Pacific – Preview comments from the listeners…

We asked and Dan answered.  Here are his comments on the cast:

1. Albert Destrade – Albert is a 26 year-old baseball/dating coach ( wtf kind of combo is that ) from Florida. He looks like the typical meathead jock and says he enjoys poker, writing ( awe how cute ) and exercise. His pet peeve is he has no patience for ignorance. Boy is this clown in for a rude awakening! Survivor is the land of he said she said, paranoia and ignorance. He thinks he’s most like JT because he wasn’t overbearing or bossy and led by example. My prediction is that this guy will be strong in challenges but around camp he’s going to get into conflicts with others over how he thinks everything should be done. Being a dating coach I suspect he’ll try to use his looks and head games to get in with the girls just in case the women band together to form a strong female alliance. He’s that “platonic friend” that every woman keeps around for when her real man fucks up.
